Sustainability Actions Anchored in Work and Life at Mövenpick Hotel Berlin
Green practices include actions such as conscious use of the iconic historic building which is now known as the Mövenpick Hotel Berlin. Currently around 60% of the building is equipped with LED with all lighting in rooms completely converted to LED to reduce energy consumption. Furthermore, window and door sensors in rooms automatically switch off the ventilation and heating when unoccupied.

D&E Journey Protects Rainforests, Wild Elephants and Jino People in Yunnan
By the end of 2023, the rainforest reforestation area had reached 543 acres with more than 20 tree species and over 30,000 saplings planted. The 38 villager families participating in the project received 1.136 million yuan in management fees for saplings and it is estimated that more than 2 million yuan profit has been gained through ecological tourism in the town of Jino.

Atmosphere Core: Leading Sustainable Travel in Maldives
At the resorts within the Atmosphere Core portfolio, environmental care takes centre stage, with a special focus on coral conservation. Within the portfolio of nine resorts, seven have an actively managed coral conservation program and four resorts have a dedicated marine biologist. In 2023, a total of 279 coral frames were installed in Atmosphere Core waters with about 13,436 coral fragments. In Q1 2024, 21 new frames were installed across the resorts.

Vedettes de Paris: Ready to Launch New Electric Fleet
Green Globe recently awarded Vedettes de Paris its inaugural certification. With origins dating back to the 19th century, Vedettes de Paris is an independent, family run company that has been an iconic Seine cruise company since 1976. To significantly reduce emissions whilst improving the quality of its services, Vedettes de Paris has begun retrofitting its fleet. The PARIS Trocadéro, was the first boat to be electrified at the end of 2023. Two other boats are in the process of being electrified and due to go into service in Spring 2024.
