Google has introduced a way for Hotels & Resorts to further promote their Sustainability Certification to travel consumers. There’s an ever-growing trend of travellers caring more about the impact of travel. And according to Google’s own research, sustainability has seen exponential growth as a search term.
To make sure Google lists your Hotel or Resort as Green Globe Certified, go to your Google My Business (GMB) account, select info > hotel attributes. Here you can highlight your Green Globe certification under Eco certifications. And under Sustainability you can also list your sustainability achievements and importantly specify that they have been independently audited.
Green Globe is the leader in independently verified certification, so now is the time to let travellers know that you are a World leader in sustainable tourism.

Authentic sustainability has been practiced in Switzerland for years. In well-known rankings, Switzerland is always at the top – but many people don't know it. Along with Switzerland Tourism’s new sustainability strategy and participation of the tourism industry, the Swisstainable program should change this.
The Swisstainable program is open to all companies and organizations involved in Swiss tourism: companies that already have comprehensive sustainability certification and companies that now want to embark on a more sustainable development. The Swisstainable programme offers three different levels and has an ongoing collaboration with Green Globe.
