The Olympic Stadium Berlin is currently installing a 605.25 kilowatt-peak photovoltaic system with 1,614 photovoltaic modules mounted on the outer concrete ring of the stadium roof. With battery storage fed from the PV system the stadium will become more independent from the public power grid.
