Eden Lodge Madagascar Influences Regional Development

As part of its best practices that enhance regional development, Green Globe member Eden Lodge Madagascar has focused on improving the lives of adults and children within the local community and developing its green area initiatives. Eden Lodge, located on Baobab Beach, lives with and shares the bay with local residents. Both staff and residents work together on various joint projects that contribute toward local economic growth. Anjanojano Village, home to around 300 villagers, is located approximately 200m from the Lodge.

Camping La Fontaine du Hallate Awarded Gold Status

Camping La Fontaine du Hallate, owned and managed by Claude and Elisabeth Le Gloanic, is completely immersed in nature. Trees have been planted throughout the grounds and line walkways so that each individual campsite is clearly distinguished from the next. Green Globe awarded Gold Status to Camping La Fontaine du Hallate earlier this year acknowledging its high level of commitment to sustainable management and operations over five consecutive years.

Certification Green Globe pour Serre Chevalier Vallée. C’est le premier domaine skiable des Alpes du Sud à obtenir ce label. Un label international de tourisme durable, spécifiquement conçut pour les professionnels du voyage et du tourisme. « Pour obtenir la certification Green Globe, SCV qui gère le domaine skiable de Serre-Chevalier a mis en place des actions concrètes allant du management du développement durable au soutien des filières locales, en passant par la protection de l’environnement, et qui couvre un ensemble de 40 thématiques, déclinées en plus de 300 critères » indique l’office de Tourisme de Serre-Chevalier.
