Green Globe Certification Awarded to Atlantis by Giardino: Bans PETs

Green Globe recently awarded the Hotel Atlantis by Giardino its inaugural certification. Before the end of this year, PVC bottles as a chief source of water for all employees will be phased out. Instead, staff members will be provided with reusable thermos bottles with additional water refilling fountains installed throughout the hotel. As a result, 12.000 PET water bottles per year will be diverted from landfill.

Starhotels lancia il progetto Plastic-free

Starhotels accelera il progetto di abbattere il proprio impatto ambientale e mette al bando i prodotti in plastica monouso, a vantaggio di materiali riciclati al 100% e biodegradabili. E' l’iniziativa “Plastic free”: nel biennio 2017-18, negli Starhotels Premium oltre 2 milioni di flaconi in plastica monouso contenenti toiletries sono stati sostituiti con dispenser realizzati in materiale riciclato e riciclabile, con al loro interno prodotti ecologici di alta qualità privi di parabeni e siliconi certificati Ecolabel ed Ecocert.
