The Fortress Resort & Spa runs a turtle conservation project and each year guests are encouraged to participate in efforts to assist turtle hatchlings make their way to the sea. The turtle nesting season will soon take place and the resort is busily preparing to welcome the arriving mothers and new baby turtles.

IHG to Phase Out Miniature Amenities by 2021

IHG has announced that it will remove miniature bathroom amenities and switch to bulk size containers across its entire hotel estate by the end of 2021. IHG estimates that 200 million bathroom miniatures are in use at its hotels per year.

Two Seasons Hotel Recycled 1.4 tonnes of Soap

Two Seasons Hotel has revealed that it has recycled 1.4 tonnes (t) of used soap into 200,000 new bars from 2015 to 2019 as part of the Soap for Hope initiative, with the latter having created 30,000 job opportunities in India, Philippines and Africa every year.
