InterContinental Genève - 6 Years of Green Globe Certification

This year, the InterContinental Genève celebrates its 6th year of recertification and remains firmly committed to its many sustainability efforts. Francois Chopinet, Hotel General Manager explained, “At InterContinental Genève we have included major principles for sustainable development in our daily processes and we continue looking for new ones. We do our best to reduce our footprint and to do this we have put specific systems in place in different areas of the hotel. We are equipping the common areas, the 333 rooms and 2000 m2 of conference facilities with LED lighting and we have developed sustainable business and human resource practices."

Gold Awarded to Mount Cinnamon Resort & Beach Club

Since 2013, Mount Cinnamon Resort & Beach Club as been committed to environmental sustainability through Green Globe certification. Mount Cinnamon recognizes that environmental sustainability is not limited to simply reducing the property’s carbon footprint but that it functions simultaneously with community based programs. The resort has achieved Green Globe re-certification year after year based on its successful resource management. For the past 2 years, the resort’s main focus has been directed toward greater community engagement and remains so for 2019.

Two Seasons Hotel Participates in ‘Green' Drive

Two Seasons Hotel in Dubai recently participated in a can collection drive organised by the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) last month as part of efforts to promote green living. The drive, which brought together more than 200 entities from around the UAE, requested all participants to deposit 35 kg of cans each. Two Seasons Hotel, however, went above and beyond, delivering 72 kg of cans.
