Sustainable Luxury Lifestyle at Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht

Andaz Amsterdam has been busy upgrading its energy saving measures in 2020. A room automation system is being trialed in one guest room with the view to roll this out to all rooms. Contactless control units will replace key cards to turn energy on or off automatically depending on whether guests enter or leave a room. Energy consumption will thereby be reduced by approximately 35% on average and improved hygiene standards will be delivered in accordance with COVID-19 safety protocol.

Morena Eco Resort Launches Sustainable Initiatives in Curaçao

Green Globe recently recertified Morena Eco Resort for the sixth year in a row. Vera van der Wielen, General manager at Morena Eco Resort said, “We are very proud and happy to be recertified by Green Globe for another year. Eva Meijer our new Environmental Officer, has been responsible for the resort successfully passing the audit. Eva has been working with us since February and despite the hard times during the Covid-19 lock-down period, she was able to complete the audit, which we are very grateful for.”
