GRENADA (Jan. 25, 2016) – The award-winning luxury retreat, Spice Island Beach Resort (www.SpiceIslandBeachResort.com) in Grenada, prepared for 2016 with the continuation of the multimillion-dollar redesign it began in 2013, focusing its latest efforts on the charming Oleander Superior Suites.
Offering 620 sq. feet of vacation bliss with en-suite living rooms and breezy balconies or patios from which to enjoy stunning Caribbean sunsets, Oleander Superior Suites at Spice Island Beach Resort have been repainted to match the motifs used throughout the newly redesigned property. Suites are enhanced with new designer rugs, elegant bedside lamps, chic bathroom lighting fixtures and bath rugs, and the addition of ceiling fans to all balconies.
“Our discerning travelers have high expectations and Spice Island Beach Resort goes beyond to exceed these expectations and deliver a vacation experience unlike any other,” noted Sir Royston O. Hopkin KCMG, the family owned and operated luxury boutique’s Chairman and Managing Director. “Never resting on our laurels, we’ve implemented a complete renovation of the property three times throughout the last 15 years to ensure we remain at the forefront of the luxury tourism market,” Sir Royston added.
The upgraded suites are the lastest enhancements to be unveiled at the resort since it embarked on the major renovation project in 2013.
Previous developments include a new porte-cochère featuring contemporary pavers as well as a redesigned courtyard, reception lobby, restaurants and residence lounge, which benefit from new wall definitions and trimmings, chic lighting and contemporary aesthetics accented by a fresh combination of colors. Furniture throughout all restaurants, public areas and the majority of guest rooms have been replaced in phases over the last two years.
Additionally, the full-service, on property Janissa’s Spa received an extensive upgrade and expansion, reopening in 2014 with a separate hair salon, brand new manicure and pedicure facility, new indoor couples massage room and sauna area complete with double outdoor showers. The spa’s outer deck was transformed into a relaxation area to provide a tranquil ambiance to aid in guests’ relaxation.
“While we continue to receive the industry’s top distinctions and honors, our unwavering commitment to the highest quality service and accommodations drives us to push forward in order to keep our product ahead of contemporary trends,” said Sir Royston.
Upgrades to Spice Island Beach Resort’s Oleander Superior Suites were completed by the end of 2015.
Oleander Superior Suites are priced from $1,427 per night, based on two people sharing one suite from Jan. 16 – April 15, 2016. Save more than 10% in the summer season with rates starting at $1,266 per night from April 16 – Dec. 15, 2016.
