The property has demonstrated corporate social responsibility and innovation in the fields of operational efficiency on multiple levels. A long term sustainability management system is in effect at the Mövenpick Hotel Den Haag-Voorburg, energy and water consumption is recorded and benchmarked. Environmentally-friendly actions are at the heart of all operations, through initiatives such as the introduction of biodegradable pens, wooden key cards, electric scooter rentals, ecological bathroom amenities and Mövenpick Fair Trade Coffee. Guests are encouraged to support a carbon-neutral stay and to minimize their environmental footprint, cleaning of bed linen and bathrooms are provided on request, or every two days. At Mövenpick Hotel Den Haag-Voorburg special effort is being made to choose local producers and suppliers adhering to eco-friendly practices.
