In the October 2015 edition of British Airways High Life magazine an article entitled: ‘WHERE TO STAY: The top five hotels in the Caribbean” named Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa as the number 2 hotel in the Caribbean.
The ranking took into consideration TripAdvisor (www.tripadvisor.com) scores of which Calabash has received 96% guest satisfaction and is ranked the number one hotel in Grenada on the website. Earlier this year Calabash was also been awarded TripAdvisor’s Travellers Choice Awards as #7 of the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Caribbean, #8 of the Top 25 Hotels in the Caribbean, #16 of the Top 25 Hotels for Romance in Caribbean and was inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.
Calabash’s Director Adéle Garbutt, a member of the owing family states, “We strive to give an extremely high level of guest satisfaction in a 5 star environment and we are delighted that this has been recognised by High Life Magazine and TripAdvisor. We have been the #1 hotel on Trip Advisor in Grenada for a considerable period with an average of 96% guest satisfaction rating and to be recognised, as #2 in the Caribbean is truly amazing and a true reward to all concerned with Calabash.”
The Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa has recently reopening after an 11-week closure to complete an extensive upgrade project, which included the renovation of the hotel’s Junior Suite and Deluxe Suite categories. All suites have also benefitted from new Italian furniture and soft furnishings.
